I’m always happy to have a nice Wolfgang in stock. These are great guitars for the rock player. Made in the USA. Top notch specs and killer looks. The body is basswood for tone and good weight. The top is gorgeous flame maple and features an unstained edge for a PRS like look. The maple neck features a 15 inch maple fingerboard with 22 frets. Dual EVH humbuckers deliver big tone. A double locking Floyd Rose with D-tuner teams up with Schaller tuners for solid performance. This example is finished in somewhat rare purple transparent. Fairly uncommon. The Peavey signature models have been out of production for a few years and EVH now plays a Fender built signature model. Many fans of the Peavey Wolfgang are out there. Collector interest is high. Grab one while you can!
Like most EVH’s, this one has low action and great feel. The pickups sound excellent and the construction is top notch. A great guitar. Condition wise, this one is for the player. It shows moderate pick, clearcoat and belt scratches as well as dents and dings. the worst flaw can be seen by clicking HERE. The guitar has seen some use and would be fine for a player. Normal fret wear but it plays fine. Comes in original hardshell case.
The Wolfgang is definitely a modern classic. A versatile yet straight ahead guitar that would please many players. They definitely are collectible and this one is super nice and in a cool color. A new EVH starts at just under $3K. These Peaveys are well regarded among players and priced much lower.
