It looks like a freakin' AIRCRAFT CARRIER! How crazy is that? Double your fun with a regular 6 string neck and a twangy baritone. The big hardwood body is ready for just about anything you can throw at it. The maple necks features rosewood fingerboards and dot inlays. Dual mini humbuckers for the baritone neck and Gretsch branded humbuckers on the 6 string side dish out big tone. Dual Bigsby vibratos allow you wiggly twang-u-lating statements. Not so subtle silver sparkle finish blinds lesser guitar gods. A wacky guitar that would make a good addition to almost anyone's tone toolbox!
This is a fun instrument that plays and sounds great for the bucks. The necks are straight and have good action. The pickups deliver vintage tone. Everything works as it should. Condition wise, this is a fine used guitar. It shows moderate pick and clearcoat scratches as well as a few dents and dings. the worst can be seen by clicking HERE. Solid for a player. Comes in a gigbag.
Gretsch no longer offers this freak machine. Too bad because a baritone is quite the useful tool. Coupled with the crazy looks, this one is a real winner. One of the most fun guitars I've seen in a long time!
