Click any picture for supersize view! Many guitar nuts know Godin for offering top notch quality and playability at a great price. This LG is no exception. A heckuva lotta guitar for the bucks. The single cutaway mahogany body offers nice warm tone. The 24.75 inch scale mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard with a flat 16 inch fingerboard radius. Dual Godin humbuckers are hooked to a 3 way switch for tons of tones. A tuneomatic style bridge and a string through body team up for mondo sustain while Godin branded tuners keep everything rock solid. Looks to have had another set of tuners at what point. This example is finished in satin natural for a rustic look. If you are tired of overpriced guitars that don't deliver check out a Godin! Like most Godins I've had in stock, this guitar is a good player. Nice, low, low action. Good feel. The dual humbuckers sound good and work great. Condition wise, this one shows normal wear. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches. Normal playwear. As an added bonus, this one comes in a Godin HARDSHELL CASE. These usually have a gigbag so a hardshell is a mighty fine upgrade. Godin has always brought out some great no frills guitars for players. The LG's vaguely Les Paul flavor will appeal to a wide variety of guitarists. It's no one trick pony though and can do a lot of different styles. A new one will cost you $689 at the super stores. Why not buy a used one and save some bucks? |
