From Squier's cool Vista series, we present this Musicmaster Bass. The Vista series gave players good quality vintage style instruments at low prices. They have become very popular in recent years. This Musicmaster is no exception. The body is alder for good tone. the short scale maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. A single coil pickup delivers retro tone. Vintage style tuners and bridge keep it rock solid. The finish is a cool Daphne Blue and is set off by a white pickguard. A very cool bass that drips with vibe!
Like most shortscale basses, this Musicmaster is fun to play. Greta for guitar players that want to dabble in bass or anyone that is tired of run of the mill Precisions and Jazzes. The pickups sounds good and deliver nice tone for the bucks. Condition wise this bass shows normal wear. Light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches and a few indents. Nothing major. Comes in a gigbag.
Squier/Fender no longer offers the Musicmaster bass. About your only choice in a new shortscale Fender bass is the Mustang at $839. Here's a cool bass with a similar vibe for a lot less.
