2003 Ibanez Artcore AFS75T! SOLD! Click any picture for supersize view! Ibanez' Artcore line has long impressed me by offering a heck of a lot of guitar at a great price. Excellent looks, cool tones and hip colors. This AFS75T is no exception. The fully hollow body is made of laminated maple for good tone. The cutaway AFS75 body shape takes the large body width of the AF series but combines it with a body a full inch thinner for a comfortable feel and a punchy tone. The 24.75 inch scale mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. Dual ACH humbuckers dish out tones from smooth and warm to loud and dirty. A licensed Ibanez Bigsby, Tuneomatic bridge, and sealed tuners round out the hardware. The finish is a classic cherry red and is set off by chrome hardware. A great guitar for the bucks! This Ibanez plays and sounds great. The neck is straight, the action is low and the frets are good. The pickups sound great. The neck position tone control needs some work and doesn't seem to be working. No big deal if you're an "everything on 10" kinda player. Condition wise, this guitar shows normal playwear. Light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches. Solid but not collector clean. Comes in an Ibanez hardshell case. The Ibanez Artcore line is one of the best deals out there on a hollowbody guitar. Great looks, performance and bang for the buck. A new AFS75T will cost you $449 in stores plus another $99 for the case. Here's one for a lot less. |
