1996 Fender Japan 52 Telecaster Reissue in SHELL PINK! SOLD! Click any picture for supersize view! Is there anything cooler than a Tele? How about a SHELL PINK one?!? I've NEVER seen a 50s Tele in pink. Ultra, ultra rare factory pink finish. Maybe a guitar that was never meant to be sold in the US? Who knows? This 52 Reissue was built by the fine craftsman at Fender Japan and exemplifies the quality that many players love. Japanese Fender instruments have developed quite a following in recent years for their cool vibe, great quality and excellent attention to detail. This Tele is no exception. Great specs throughout. The body is basswood for light weight. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a maple fingerboard with 21 vintage frets and dot inlays. Dual single coils deliver big Tele twang. A string through bridge and Kluson style tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is ultra rare factory pink and is set off by a white pickguard and chrome hardware. A super cool Tele in a mega rare color! Like most Fender Japan guitars, this Tele plays great and sounds good. The V shape neck is comfy and the frets are good. The pickups sound nice and everything works as it should. A really cool guitar. Condition wise, this one has seen some use but is still solid. Moderate pick, clearcoat and belt scratches. Normal playwear. A few dents and dings on the edges. Cool semi played vibe. Comes in a gigbag. This is one of the coolest looking guitars around and just screams vintage. Unfortunately you can't get the Japanese reissues anymore. And you certainly can't find a reissue in pink without paying big bucks from the Custom Shop. Here's a cool guitar with killer looks, vibe and feel. |
