Fender used to call this model the Classic Player Custom Shop Strat but many of the specs are the same. Alder body for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale one piece birdseye maple neck features a 9.5 radius maple fingerboard with medium jumbo frets and dot inlays. Check out the cool figure on this one! Fender Modern Classic pickups bring the tone at the neck and middle while a Hot Classic single coil at the bridge delivers scorching lead tone. A two point trem with stainless saddles teams with sealed tuners to keep it rock solid. The body is finished in classic sunburst and is set off by chrome hardware and white plastic. A top notch Strat!
If you are tired of wimpy frets, this guitar would make a great choice. The flatter radius and medium jumbo frets make bending a breeze. Vintage feel V neck makes for hours of comfortable playing. The Classic single coil pickups work and sound great as do the electronics. This is a nice used guitar. Someone has aged the finish for a cool relic look. Forearm wear, scratches and a few indents. Fairly mild compared to most relic jobs. Comes with tweed Fender hardshell case with cert and a pile of case candy.
This is an incredible performer for the gigging guitarist. All of the feel and playability of a modern Fender with the looks and tone of a vintage one. A great value for the quality of materials and overall vibe. For a few bucks more than an American Deluxe you can get a real USA Made Custom Shop Strat.
