Click any picture for supersize view!

Here's  a cool and fairly uncommon guitar. Only 198 made, the JC-16KWS was designed by Kenny Wayne and Martin guitars. The jumbo cutaway body features solid sapele back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top. Martin's A frame scalloped X bracing means great projection and tone. The mahogany neck features an ebony fingerbaord with cool teardrop inlays. The bridge and headstock overlay are also ebony for a great look. Martin branded sealed tuners keep it rock solid. The appointments are what make this instrument really stand out. Black Boltaron binding is highlighted by blue, black and white purflings. The soundhole rosette is blue Paua shell and is highlighted with style 45 line inlays in blue fiber. Kenny Wayne's signature is inlaid between 18th and 20th frets and the headstock is topped off with a chrome Martin logo. The finish is a transparent blue top with black back and sides continuing on the blue on black theme. A Martin Thinline Gold Plus under saddle pickup lets you plug in. A distinctive looking and sounding guitar!

This is a very cool looking and sounding guitar. The modified low oval profile is comfortable and fun to play. Frets are good and the action is fine. the pickup works fine and delivers good tone. Condition wise, this is a very clean used guitar. It shows very light playwear and clearcoat scratches. Some scratches on the pickguard. Very nice. Comes in original hardshell case.

This is a great guitar for anyone that needs a distinctive looking acoustic with good tone. A very nice instrument that is fairly rare. This one was made roughly halfway in the run of 198 instruments. This may be your best chance to grab one of these.
