2006 Fender Diamond Anniversary Stratocaster! SOLD!

To celebrate Fender's 60th anniversary, a special run of Standard Series instruments were offered in 2006. All sported a special Blizzard Pearl Metallic finish and 60th Anniversary medallion on the back of the headstock. Only offered for one year, these instruments offered players good quality, great feel and excellent features. The comfort contoured body of this Strat is alder for great tone and feel. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. A trio of single coils dish out classic tone. A vintage style trem and sealed tuners complete the package. The Blizzard Pearl finish looks great against the white pickguard and chrome hardware. A great guitar with killer looks!
Like most Standard Series instruments, this Strat sounds great and plays well. The neck is straight and the frets are good. The pickups sound good and the electronics work fine. This is a fine guitar for a player. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches. There's some sticker shadows on the pickguard. Normal wear and tear. Comes in a Fender gigbag.
The Diamond Anniversary Strat is no longer available new. Even if you could hop in your time machine and head to a store, you would pay more than what this example is priced at. This is a good used one and it's priced right.
