2007 Gibson Les Paul Double Cut Faded Special! SOLD!

I love Gibson’s faded series. The thin satin lacquer finish really makes for a great sounding guitar. The price can’t be beat either. Good quality and made in the USA. The body is made from Honduras mahogany for killer sustain. The one piece mahogany features a rosewood  fingerboard with dot inlays. Dual P-90 pickups deliver killer growl and bite. A Tuneomatic bridge, Stopbar tailpiece, and Kluson style tuners round out the package. The satin matte Heritage Cherry nitro lacquer finish has a vintage vibe and will age for a cool look. It really lets the tone out too.  If you dig the look and tone of a vintage Les Paul Special but can’t handle the price tag, this could be your guitar!

This Les Paul has typical Gibson feel. Nice neck with low action. The pickups sound great with tons of sustain and growl. The faded finish is very thin and shows wear easily. These guitars get a cool aged vibe with a little use. This one is solid showing light scratches and a few indents. A nice used guitar. Comes in an aftermarket hardshell case. A nice upgrade as these originally came in a gigbag.

The faded series is one of Gibson’s best values. Made in the USA quality at the same price as many imports. Gibson no longer offers this model so this may be your best chance at grabbing one.  Here’s a used one for a lot less than the Custom Shop reissues!
