A great recreation of a 57 Strat in one of the best colors! Fender's American Vintage series recreates legendary instruments with great USA made quality. Nice attention to detail and excellent workmanship. This one is no exception. The body is alder for killer vintage tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage style frets. A trio of American Vintage single coils dish out big tone. Fender's classic trem and Kluson style tuners round out the package. The finish is Surf Green nitro lacquer. One of the most desirable custom colors and ultra rare on a maple board Strat! Incredible looks and tone along with excellent USA made quality!
This Strat has good vintage tone and feel. The V shape neck is comfy. The single coils deliver classic Fender Strat tone. Pretty much everything you want in a Strat. Condition wise, this is a very nice guitar. It has seen very, very little playtime. It was the floor model in a music store that closed. It shows some very light scratches, a few minor indents and very minor signs of use. There's one very minor finish imperfection/chip near the neck plate that looks to me like the factory installed the neck before the paint cured. Nothing major at all. Comes in original tweed case with a bunch of case candy.
Nothing is cooler than a Strat in a custom color and this one just oozes vibe. A new one will set you back a whopping $1899 in the superstores. Here's one for a whole lot less.
