MATCHING HEADSTOCK! How cool is that?!? The Fender Custom Shop really did a great job on this one. Great USA made quality and feel. An incredible recreation of a Custom Color 1960 Strat! The body is select alder for good tone and weight. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius maple neck with 21 frets and dot inlays. The pickups and electronics have been hot rodded on this one for a ton of tones. The bridge pickup has been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan Little 59 humbucker and teams up with the stock Custom 60s Single coils at the bridge and middle. The bottom tone pot acts as a master tone and as a push pull that activates the neck pickup for any pickup combo. The middle knob is a push pull that splits the bridge humbucker down to single coil and also acts as a blender for the neck pickup when turned. A lot of tones here folks! Vintage style tuners and a vintage style trem keep it rock solid. The finish is black lacquer and sports Fender's trademark relic treatments. It looks like a guitar that has seen many a smoky bar! A cool Strat with a ton of sounds.
This is a great Strat and may be the only guitar you'll need at a gig. The action is good, the frets are fine and the 60s C shaped neck feels great. The pickups deliver a variety of tones. Very, very versatile. This is a nice used guitar. It's a relic and came beat up from the factory, so cosmetic condition is a bit silly to rate. The guitar doesn't look to have gotten a ton of play time. The frets are clean and the guitar feels great. Comes in a Fender brown Tolex case with cert and some case candy.
This Strat will please almost any player thanks to its great looks, killer tone and amazing versatility. An incredible instrument that's priced right. A new one will cost you $3699 at the superstores and you won't get the cool matching black headstock. Here's one for less!
