The TCM Royal is one of Terry's most innovative guitars. The instrument features a unique chambered body. The semi hollow body is actually tuned to a pitch for a musical tone. The soundhole is actually an integral portion of this guitar's tone and not a cosmetic gimmick. Very versatile. An incredible guitar with some great specs. The chambered body is mahogany for good tone and versatility. The 25 1/8th inch scale mahogany neck features a 12 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and cool abalone slash inlays. The guitar has been upgraded with a set of Dimarzio PAF humbuckers for big tone. A 3 way switch offers a variety of tones. A Stopbar tailpiece Tuneomatic bridge and sealed tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a gorgeous transparent cherry that really shows off the beauty of the wood. An incredible looking guitar with performance to match!
Like most premium guitars, this TCM plays and sounds great. The neck is straight and the action is low. The pickups deliver almost any sound you could want. A great guitar for a pro musician. This is a nice used guitar. Very clean. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches with some scratches also on the pickup covers. Nice looking. Comes in original green McInturff hardshell case.
McInturff guitars are hard to find. A real shame actually as they are incredible instruments that can blow away many other big brands. Great build quality and tone. A new one will cost you big bucks if you can find one in stock. Why save some loot and grab a used example?
