2000 Fender 69 Reissue Thinline Telecaster! SOLD! Click any picture for supersize view! One of Fender's most innovative Teles, the 69 Thinline combined Fender twang with the light weight and big tone of a semi hollow body. A great combo that has been popular among tone savvy players ever since. Nice attention to detail and vintage feel. The semi hollow body is made of mahogany. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 frets. Dual single coils deliver trademark Tele tone. The original 3 saddle bridge has been upgraded to an American Standard style 6 saddle one. Original Schaller F tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is a natural walnut and is set off by a white pearloid pickguard. A truly great guitar that is light in weight and heavy in tone. This Tele plays and sounds good. The neck is straight, the frets are good and the action is fine. The pickups coupled with the semi hollow body make for a lively, full tone. A great guitar. Condition wise, this guitar is used but has been taken care of. It shows light to moderate pick, clearcoat scratches. A few longer scratches on the front. Nothing major. Comes in a gigbag. No Tele collection is complete without a Thinline. Great tone and feel for the bucks. A new 69 Thinline will cost you $939.99 in stores. Here's a nice used example for less! |
