1966 Silvertone Danelectro Model 1452 Amp in Case Guitar! SOLD! Click any picture for supersize view! Looking for Danelectro tone on a budget? Even Danos have become expensive in todays crazy vintage market. Here's a cool Silvertone Amp in the Case guitar that won't break the bank. Made by Danelectro, these guitars were what many players would dream about when looking in their Sears catalog. Tons of fun! The body is solid wood for cool tone and sustain. The full scale neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. Dual Lipstick tube pickups dish out that tradenark Dano growl. Skate key tuners and a hip Dano trem round out the hardware. The finish is a hip sunburst. The amp in case puts out a blistering watt or so of all tube, paint peeling power. Useful as a recording amp. A hip package that will make a nice addition to any collection. This Dano plays well and has nice tone. The neck is straight and the frets are good. The pickups sound great and everything works as it should. A cool guitar. The amp could use some TLC. It has some scratchiness and overall funkiness. The footswitch doesn't seem to do anything. A retube and cleaning may solve everything. The speaker looks to have been replaced. The amp/case and guitar show normal wear as to be expected of a instruments of this vintage. Moderate pick, clearcoat, and belt wear as well as normal dents, dings and chips. Still a good looking guitar. The guitar and amp/case will be shipped separately for full protection. You can't get a much better vintage value than one of these. Tons of useful tones in a nice package. Real Dano tone priced less than most vintage guitar. Consider the amp a freebie on this one and grab this one for the guitar alone. |
