2000’s Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray Bass! SOLD! Click any picture for supersize view! I’ve always been a huge fan of the Stingray Bass. Designed by old Leo Fender him self as an improved version of the venerable P-Bass, the Stingray can do it all. Big, warm tone with tons of versatility. The hardwood body is contoured for comfort and balance. The 34 inch scale maple neck features an 11 inch radius maple fingerboard with 21 high profile frets and gun oil stock finish. A massive humbucker is hooked to a 3 way active preamp for tons of tones. A Standard Ernie Ball bridge and Schaller BM tuners keep it rock solid. This one is finished in sunburst, a classic choice. One of the most popular basses in the world, the Stingray is the choice of a variety of players! I love the feel of the gun oil stock finished neck on most Musicmans. The neck is comfortable, the action is good and its straight. What more could you ask for? The pickups sounds good and all of the electronics work as they should. Condition wise, this one shows moderate-average pick and clearcoat wear as well as a few small indents and dings. No big deal for a player. Comes in an original hardshell case. Stingrays are definitely popular but they are hard to find in most mom and pop stores. You can get one from the superstores for nearly $1400.00. Why not buy a used one and save some cash? |
