Dripping with cool! I’ve always loved the looks of the old National map guitars. Unfortunately the prices on vintage originals are way out of reach. Luckily Eastwood has created some cool recreations of these hip guitars! This Map Bass is ready to go. Good quality and hip tone. The sculpted body is made of tone chambered mahogany for warm tone. The 30.5 inch scale maple neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. Dual Alnico 10 hot humbucking bass pickups deliver killer tones. A trapeze tailpiece, Tuneomatic style bridge and sealed tuners keep this one rock solid. The bass is finished in a cool retro Seafoam Green and set off by a cool striped National style pickguard. A really hip package for your arsenal!
This is a great feeling bass with some cool tones. Unlike many vintage originals, this one has a straight neck with good action. The electronics sound great and work as they should. A nice bass for the working pro or collector. Condition wise, this one is super nice. Almost New Old Stock condition showing only minor playwear. Very nice. Comes in a gigbag.
Eastwood has done a great job bringing players recreations of hip vintage guitars at great prices. This Map Bass definitely has a killer vibe and is priced right. A new one will set you back $799.00 from My Rare Guitars. This one has seen little use and is priced much, much lower.
