Attention Link Wray fans! For many Dano fans, myself included, the Longhorn will be eternally linked (no pun intended) to the Rumble Man. Guitarlins, both originals and reissues are tough to find. This 90’s (I think) reissue brings all of that cool Dano vibe at an affordable price. The body is made of semi hollow masonite for good tone. The maple neck features a 31 fret rosewood fingerboard that allows the player to reach high mandolin like notes. Dual lipstick tube pickups deliver trademark tone. Sealed Gotoh tuners and the famous Dano bridge keep everything rock solid. This example is finished in commie red for a cool retro vibe. The Longhorn shape screams style and hipness. The Guitarlin is a classic that would fit in almost any hipster’s guitar collection!
This guitar has groovy Dano tone and is fun to play. The action is nice and low and the pickups sound excellent. It’s a nice used guitar too. It shows light to average pick and clearcoat scratches. A nice looking guitar. Comes in a gigbag.
Dano no longer offers the guitarlin and used examples are very tough to find. Vintage models are pretty much made of unobtanium and command a hefty premium. Here’s a cool reissue at an affordable price. All of the cool features and hip vibe.
