2003 Fender American Standard Ash Telecaster! SOLD! Click any picture for supersize view! It's hard to improve a classic! A timeless design since the early 50's, the Fender Tele is a great choice for nearly any kind of music you can throw at it. Fender's American Series offers great quality and features. The body is ash for good sound and weight. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch maple rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. Dual single coils deliver classic twang. A string through bridge and sealed tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is classic 3 tone sunburst for a cool 60s look. A great look on an incredible package! Fender's American Series is well known for its great feel. The big frets and flat radius neck make for a fun to play guitar. The single coil pickups dish out trademark Tele tone. The neck is straight, action is low and the electronics work fine. A nice guitar. This guitar would be great for a player but isn't collector grade. It shows moderate pick, clearcoat and belt scratches as well as some chips, dents and dings. A cool vibe but not for a collector. Comes in a hardshell case. The Tele is an icon. Fender's American Series adds all of the features modern players crave. A new American Standard Tele will cost you $999.00 in stores. This one is priced a lot lower. |
