Fender’s HSS Strat combines good old Fender tradition with the versatility of a bridge mounted humbucker! Like all American Series instruments, this HSS offers top notch playability along with modern features. The body is alder for killer tone and gorgeous looks. The 25.5 inch scale, one piece, modern C shaped maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. Two hot Tex Mex single coils team up with a smoking Diamondback humbucker for killer tone. A fixed string through bridge teams up with upgraded locking tuners for rock solid performance. The whole package is finished in classic black. The Strat HSS is great for players that need to do it all. Everything from big rock to classic blues!
Like most American Series instruments, this Strat plays and sounds great. The big frets make for easy bends. The pickups sound great. The electronics have been modified so that there's only one master tone pot. The other tone pot is left as a dummy pot. Wire it up if you like but I like the simplicity. This is a nice used guitar. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat wear, moderate belt buckle scratches as well as some dents and dings. Comes in an aftermarket hardshell case.
