Retro cool! The Fender Competition Mustang is one of the hippest reissues out there! Cool looks and easy to play short scale. Crafted in Japan to the best standards, the Mustang reissue offers top notch materials and features. The comfort contoured body is alder for good tone and feel. The 24 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 vintage frets. Dual single coil pickups are hooked to a unique switching system for tons of tones. The Fender Dynamic vibrato and vintage style tuners round out the hardware. This example is finished in lake placid blue with groovy competition stripes and a pearloid pickguard. A really cool looking, sounding and playing package!
Like most Fender Japan instruments I’ve had in stock, this guitar plays and sounds good. Nice comfy neck with good frets. The pickup and electronics sound and work great. This one is clean too. It only shows some minor playwear and pick scratches. Super nice used guitar. Comes in a gigbag.
Vintage looks, feel and tone at a great price! I’ve always loved short scale basses for recording. This Mustang will make a fine addition to your arsenal! $699.99 in stores but you can't find this color anymore. Save some loot on a nice used one.
