2003 Dipinto Galaxie 4! SOLD!

Click any picture for supersize view!

Outrageous retro fun! Dipinto makes some of the coolest guitars out there and this Galaxie 4 is no exception. Cool surf, spaghetti western, spy movie tone. The double cutaway is made of mahogany for great tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. FOUR, count 'em, four single coils dish out crazy tones and are hooked to a wacky rocker switch system. A roller bridge, vintage style trem and sealed pearl button tuners round out the hardware. The finish is classic sunburst and is set off by a tortoise shell pickguard and matching tortoise headstock. A really cool guitar for the bucks!

This Dipinto plays well and has some really hip tones. The neck is straight and the action is low. The frets are good. The pickups sound cool and they offer tons of tonal variation. Everything works as it should. This is a nice used guitar showing normal playwear. It shows light to moderate pick and clearcoat scratches as well as moderate belt buckle wear. No trem arm included. Comes in a Fender gig bag.

What a cool guitar for the bucks! Unlike many companies that slavishly copy a retro design, Dipinto is actually bringing something new to the table. A new one will cost you $789.00 but I can save you some cash on a used one.
